Without Guided Mode, work through the following sequence — each step links to the relevant chapter:

1. Create a new project with machine and stock — Create a new project.
2. Load the model or drawing — Load models and drawings.
3. Position the part in the stock — Position the part.
4. Define setup, zero point and fixtures — Setups and fixtures.
5. Choose tools and confirm available cutters — Tools and materials.
6. Add operations or request suggestions — Plan machining operations.
7. Recalculate and inspect the result in Preview — Preview and simulation.
8. Review the project check — Project check.
9. Export and take the file to the machine — Create a machine file.
10. Save — Save and open projects.
