Multiple sides (manual reclamping)

Status: AVAILABLE

Up to six sides, each with its own setup. In the CAM panel, switch using the side tabs (e.g. Top · Bottom · Front); the path list shows the time and movements for the selected side. The example in the main window shows a gear (“derailleur pulley”) with three setups. Export all sides using Export › Export all setups …. They are exported as one package with one file per side, zero points, tools, sequence and overview.

4th axis: indexing

Status: EXPERIMENTAL – virtually tested; output for Makera Z1 uses an independently implemented file postprocessor without manufacturer approval.

The workpiece is rotated to fixed angles using rotary axis A (e.g. 0°, 90°, 180°, 270°) and machined from above at each angle.

4th axis: radial rotary machining

Status: EXPERIMENTAL

Continuous rotation around the A axis with corresponding movement in Z – for round parts made from round bars. Roughing and finishing sequences with several tools, end supports, axial subregions and a material preview.

5 axes (A/C table)

Status: IN DEVELOPMENT – 3+2 indexing and simultaneous A/C finishing can only be planned virtually; real 5-axis output has not been approved.
